# Parallel

Parallel is an AI-native search platform built for large language models and AI Agents. It provides semantic web search and high-quality content extraction, making it easy to retrieve relevant information from across the web. By connecting Parallel to JetAdmin, you can search the web, fetch webpage content, and enhance AI Agents with real-time context.

## Connecting Parallel

To connect your Parallel account:

1. Open the **Data** tab from the left sidebar.
2. Click **Add Resource**.
3. Select **Parallel** from the list of available resources.
4. Authenticate your Parallel account.

{% hint style="info" %}
Once connected, the Parallel resource becomes available anywhere JetAdmin supports external resources.
{% endhint %}

## What can it do?

The Parallel integration gives JetAdmin access to AI-powered web search and webpage retrieval.

From JetAdmin, you can:

* Search the web using natural language
* Retrieve content from webpages
* Provide AI Agents with live web context
* Use search and web content inside workflows and applications

## Where to use it?

Parallel is most useful whenever your application needs **real-time web information**, **online research**, or **Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)**.

You can use it in:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.jetadmin.io/user-guide/integrations/parallel.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
