# Chart Appearance

Chart appearance can be modified in the *Display* section of the **chart** or **dataset menu**.

In the *Display* section of the **chart menu**, you can adjust:

* Chart label (displayed at top of chart)
* Y-Axis options
* Date Range selector (if applicable)
* Conditional Visibility
* Tooltips
* Icon (for Single Value charts)

In the *Display* section of the **dataset menu**, you can adjust:

* Data label (displayed in legend and when user hovers over chart)
* Color of data in chart (e.g. line color in line chart)
* Data format (i.e. how data is displayed when user hovers over chart)
