# Set the social sharing preview

Set the metadata used when your app URL is shared on social media.

## Configure the preview

1. Open **More → Sharing**.
2. Enter an optional **Share Title** that identifies the app.
3. Enter an optional **Share Description** explaining its purpose.
4. Under **Share Image**, drop an image or select **Choose file**.
5. Reopen the settings to confirm the values persisted, then check the preview of the published URL on the intended platform.

Use an image and text suitable for the audience that may see the shared address. Avoid including private records in the preview.

## Verify the result

Check the title, description, image crop, and destination address. If an old preview remains, confirm the saved settings and the exact URL, then use the receiving platform's available preview-refresh tools.

These settings describe the app when its URL is shared; they do not invite users or grant access. For membership, use the top-toolbar **Share** button and [Share with the intended audience](/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/share-your-app.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.jetadmin.io/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/social-sharing-preview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
