# Share with the intended audience

Share the published app after deciding who should be able to use it and which team they should join.

## Invite a person

1. Select **Share** in the builder toolbar.
2. In **Invite with Email**, enter the intended recipient's email.
3. Select the appropriate team.
4. Review the recipient and team, then select **Send Invite**.
5. Confirm the resulting membership and test the recipient's published-app experience.

See [Invite users by email](/access-and-sharing/members-users-and-groups/invite-by-email.md) and [Choose a built-in role](/access-and-sharing/teams-and-roles/built-in-roles.md) for the detailed access workflow.

## Invite with a link

The same dialog contains **Invite with Link**, **Choose Team**, and **Add Invite Link**. Its notice states that anyone on the internet with the link can join the selected team.

Review the team's access before distributing such a link. Use [Invite users with a link](/access-and-sharing/members-users-and-groups/invite-with-a-link.md) for the full procedure. Do not treat a team-joining invitation as proof that the app supports anonymous access.

## Verify what the recipient sees

The invitation dialog warns when there are unpublished changes: non-builder users see the published app. Check the actual address and signed-in account, then run [release verification](/jet-bridge-deployment/publish-your-app/verify-a-release.md).

Use [social sharing settings](/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/social-sharing-preview.md) only to change how the app address is presented on social platforms.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.jetadmin.io/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/share-your-app.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
