# Share and embed

Choose how people will reach your published app, then verify their access.

| Task                                                               | Where to start                                                                                     |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Invite a named person or a selected team audience | [Share with the intended audience](/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/share-your-app.md) |
| Display the app inside another site or tool | [Embed an app](/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/embed-an-app.md) |
| Set the title, description, and image used when sharing an address | [Set the social sharing preview](/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed/social-sharing-preview.md) |
| Give the app a custom address                                      | [Custom domains](/jet-bridge-deployment/custom-domains.md)                                         |

## Two different sharing controls

The top-toolbar **Share** button opens membership invitations. **More → Sharing** contains social preview metadata. Editing a social title or image does not grant membership or change the access policy.

Before sharing, [verify the published release](/jet-bridge-deployment/publish-your-app/verify-a-release.md) with the intended account. Use [Authentication and SSO](/access-and-sharing/authentication-and-sso.md) and [App and data permissions](/access-and-sharing/app-and-data-permissions.md) for access configuration.

A published URL, an invitation link, and an embed link can have different purposes. Confirm the behavior of the actual link you distribute.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.jetadmin.io/jet-bridge-deployment/share-and-embed.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
