# Test and publish

Release an app only after its data, actions, and access match the intended use.

1. [Review the generated pages and logic](/ai-app-builder/refine-an-app/review-and-refine.md).
2. [Check the supported screen sizes](/ai-app-builder/preview-and-troubleshoot/control-app-preview.md).
3. [Test data actions and user access](/ai-app-builder/test-and-publish/check-data-actions-and-user-access.md) using safe records.
4. [Preview as an invited test user](/ai-app-builder/preview-and-troubleshoot/preview-as-an-invited-user.md).
5. [Publish and repeat the critical checks](/ai-app-builder/test-and-publish/preview-and-publish-an-ai-app.md) in the published app.

If a check fails, capture the actual result and [relevant logs](/ai-app-builder/preview-and-troubleshoot/inspect-app-console-and-logs.md), request a focused correction, and test again.

For custom domains, environments, and deployment options, see [Publish & Deploy](/jet-bridge-deployment/overview.md).

## Review or revert app changes

Open [Version History](/ai-app-builder/test-and-publish/version-history.md) to inspect recorded changes, preview an earlier version, or use **Revert version**. Repeat the affected data and access tests before publishing the resulting app.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.jetadmin.io/ai-app-builder/test-and-publish.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
